Turn pages of your book in companionable silence at this quiet reading party. This is a great way to absorb yourself in that book you’ve been meaning to get to, meet your book club deadline, or allocate some dedicated time to reading. Turn off your phone and tune in to your pages in the company of others. You’ll arrive and be greeted by our onsite Pocket Libraries librarian, order coffee, mingle, then choose your favorite seat or nestle into the grass and get reading. After the two hours is completed, you have the option to discuss what you’ve read with others and share your experience. Reading is commonly a solitary experience, but during this reading party, you can evoke the cosy feeling of collective reading in a library, public park, or bookstore, without the extra homework of writing an essay or attending a book club.
