ABOUT THE PLAY NIGHT SHIFT NIGHT SHIFT is a theatrical experience written by Vitel Shem and Produced by Johnson Mwambi, that unfolds in the charged hours when the world slows down, secrets surface, and ordinary lives take unexpected turns. Set against the pulse of the night, the play explores the relationships, choices, tensions and hidden stories that emerge when people find themselves outside the comfort of daylight. What begins as an ordinary night gradually becomes a collision of emotions, ambitions, fears and revelations. Through drama, humour, suspense and moments of raw human connection, NIGHT SHIFT invites its audience to look beyond what people show during the day and ask what truly happens when the lights go down. It is a story about people, pressure, choices and consequences—and the thin line between what we intend to do and what the night ultimately demands of us. NIGHT SHIFT is presented by El Club De Cinema & Dramatic Mavericks.
